Debtor collection accounts rapidly lose their recovery process after
the 90th day, and anything past one year significantly reduces your odds of
successful collection. At the end of 2 years, there is only about a 10% chance
for a successful collection. If you have a slim
chance of collecting now, you have very little time before the debt becomes completely uncollectable.
